Finance Director

Our client a fortune 500 company is looking for a Finance Director to head their finance operation in Macau.


* Oversee the financial integrity and transparency of all financial reporting.
* Lead FP&A functions in business operating costs, working capital forecast, and productivity related analysis.
* Oversee month end close activities to ensure timely submission of business results in quality manner to corporate, compliance with all internal accounting policy and procedures.
* Lead business operations in Macau such as commercial & supplier finance related activities.
* Oversee affiliates service organization and toll manufacturer business within the agreed operational flow and measure their performance.
* Execute business strategy determine by the boards and report business performance to the boards on quarterly basis.
* Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards to comply with internal policies and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
* Conduct Balance Sheet Reviews with all locations in support of the Post Close Process.
* Drive focus and achievement on the Controllership Scorecard.
* Lead, manage and develop the finance team, establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
* Partner with senior finance leadership to understand current state business processes and identify a robust continuous improvement projects - Lead system implementations & enhancements.
* Ensure continuous improvement projects are aligned with financial objectives and strategic plans.
* Support and execute business integration initiatives.
* Drive Finance Transformation other adhoc initiatives throughout the region.


* Min 15 years of progressive experience and responsibility including accounting, manufacturing finance and management within a multinational corporation environment
* Qualified member of one of the major accountancy bodies
* Experience and confident in dealing with senior leaders
* Able to adapt to business change and work in dynamic business environment
* SAP & HFM ERP experience
* Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

* Able to communicate accounting issues in a concise yet thorough manner to non-finance personnel.
* Able to build cross-functional relationships, influence and interact with all levels in the organization.
* Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
* Skills in PPT presentation and able to communicate clear and confidently to the business leaders.

* Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and be able to adopt hands-on approach
* Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
