Manager, Housekeeping

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and upkeep of guest rooms and assigned public areas

* Consistently deliver efficient levels of service and customer satisfaction whilst maintaining profitability targets

* Support the Director of Housekeeping in the execution of departmental goals

* Foster effective communication amongst all associates within the Housekeeping team

* Promote cooperation across departments in order to increase operational effectiveness

* Lead and motivate the Housekeeping team by providing continuous support during positive as well as challenging times

* Identify associates' training needs. To work closely with the Departmental Training Executive to execute training initiatives

* Monitor internal cost saving initiatives in order to minimize operating costs

* Consistently ensure the highest standard quality for all laundry items sent and returned to guests

* Regularly monitor the management of hotel linen to ensure consistent standards and quality through regular linen inventory and physical checking of linen quality

Job Requirements :

* High school, diploma in hotel management or equivalent educational qualification required

* Able to speak, read, write and understand the English & Chinese languages

* Fair and firm management abilities with high influencing skills

* Strong training, organizational and operational skills

* Creativity and innovation

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

* Two to three years in a similar management position
