Responsibilities will involve all phases of vertical market software solution development process
· Pre-sales application solution conceptualization, post-contract application solution delivery
· Customer interactions with CIO, General Manager, Business Analysts, Enterprise Application Architects
· Interfacing with business user community – understanding requirements, mapping to application features
· Application Solution Architecture (performance, availability, resiliency, scalability, data modeling, and prototyping)
· Technology standards and tools (WebServices, open source, security, distributed development, waterfall vs. agile)
· Systems integration – SOA, Internal applications as well as 3rd party systems
· Provide guidance and project oversight on China software development team
· International and domestic business travel as necessary for pre and post sale activities
Position Requirements:
· 10-12 years of experience
· Executive level pre-sales technical support and solution definition
· Delivered mission critical, high volume, vertical market application solutions
· Demonstrated knowledge of GUI, web, RDBMS, workflow, exception handling, system integration, enterprise architecture, management reporting
· Experience in manual and automated application testing, release management, software maintenance and support
· Must be strong self starter, independently motivated; 50% time supporting Macau customers, 25% time supporting SE Asia customers, 25% time working from home office location
· Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
· Proven account management skills managing expectations and delivery results
Technical Requirements
· Java, C# and .NET programming
· Proficient in relational databases
· Proficient in Windows (XP, Vista) and Linux
· Building high performance applications
· Proficient in Web servers, Application servers
· Proficient in one or more 3rd party enterprise applications
· Expertise in one or more industry domains, casino gaming preferred
· Competency in Project Management
