Asst. Vice President - Strategic Marketing
Report to VP Casino Marketing
Key Responsibilities
· Marketing and be responsible for all external regional marketing roles, including but not limited to, regional tourism networking, sales & marketing of property, travel trade business development, joint marketing activities and development of premium market segment for the Casino.
Attributes & Qualification
· Ability to communicate effectively with tourism and travel trade people.
· At least 5 years experienced in hospitality and gaming industry.
· Good understanding of tourism industry and also, basic knowledge of MICE is an advantage.
· Ability to build business relationship.
· Regional network and contacts.
Key Tasks
· Develop and execute plans for regional tourism network development; securing mass market in-flow to Hotel & Casino.
· Establish strong relationship with the region’s tourism authorities and business trade.
· Develop and maintain strong partnership with Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO) and its regional offices; actively participate in the region’s travel & tourism events and activities for the purpose of business development and network.
· Work closely with the Hotel Operations in activities of sales & marketing for property, including Direct Sales (Tour Groups) and corporate business development.
· Work closely with joint venture partners (F&B) on promotional activities.
· Develop opportunities for joint marketing (and or partnership arrangement) of property with the region’s travel platform such as airlines, cross-border busing, travel trade businesses etc.
· Develop the region’s network for premium market segment mainly covering China, Hong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.
· Covering the development of MICE products (hospitality) and future opportunities as appropriate.
