Beverage Manager


 

 

Responsibilities:

§   Resolve customer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Follow up for guest satisfaction and problem resolution.

§   Work with purchasing, cost control and suppliers to ensure the most competitive prices and purchase terms for beverages and supplies

§   Fully understand and assist in the identification of market needs and trends, ensuring the product meets and is continuously aligned with these requirements and opportunities.

§   Assist the Director of Food and Beverage and marketing department in the planning and implementation of an effective marketing plan, to ensure maximum competitive advantage.

§   Identify training needs, plan and implement effective training programs for respective associates, in conjunction with the HR & Training Department.

§   Provide leadership and guidance to associates, assist to resolve associate conflict. Provide timely feedback, and embrace and promote associate’s personaldevelopment.

§   Assist cost control and manage inventory levels. Conduct monthly beverage inventory checks on all beverages and related supplies.

§   Liaise with the Safety and Security Manager on relevant matters. Assist in handling and investigating all serious cases of accidents.

§   Participate in the formulation of the annual operating budget in determining projected revenues and expenses, and operating equipment requirements.

§   Assist the Director of Food and Beverage in ensuring that all company policies and procedures, and standard operating procedures are adhered to.

 

 

Requirement:

§   High school, diploma in hotel management or equivalent education.

§   Two to four years experience in similar food and beverage operation.

§   Strong knowledge of beverage

§   Fair and firm management abilities with high influencing skills.

§   Strong organizational skills.

§   Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

§   Ideal training and coaching skills – Train the trainer skills.

§   Marketing knowledge and progress.

§   Able to speak, read, and write English, and preferably understand Mandarin or Cantonese.
