Our client, an international engineering consulting firm, is seeking outstanding individuals to join their team in Macau for 4-5 years light rail project.
Deputy Project Manager
Job Responsibilite:
- Contract management: to assist the client and the consortium’s three contract managers in managing eleven work packages with international and local contractors. Main tasks will include: progress monitoring, follow-up of time schedule, follow up of design or programme variations, claim management, negotiations;
- Quality and risk management: to manage the quality and the risks of the project and of the associated contracts;
- Planning and cost control: to monitor the planning and the costs of the project and of the associated contracts;
- Team management: to manage a multinational and multidisciplinary team of planning, quality and cost control
Qualification:
- Master degree in engineering or project management or law
- At least 10 years of professional experience in contract management (FIDIC and non-FIDIC contractual expertise) and quantity surveying in design as well as in works supervision stages
- At least 5 years experience on rail or infrastructure projects
- At least 1 project completed in Asia
- Good negotiation capabilities
- Good team management capabilities
- Full command of written and spoken English. Good command in Chinese (Cantonese) will be appreciated.
