Event Manager


 

 

Responsibilities

 

·         Be fully accountable for the programs under your direction and to work with the Marketing team and client to ensure that the event brief and budget are fully understood and logistically sound

·         Maintain accurate files, budgets & critical paths in order to adhere to deadlines and budgets with an emphasis on attrition and cancellation deadlines as per signed contracts, across all events under your leadership

·         Maintain effective communication pre and post event with all stakeholders, to ensure the clients’ needs are understood, are being met and proactive, strategic solutions are being offered

·         Implement customer / event specific systems and processes to ensure accurate and efficient event management and proposal writing

·         Identify margin improvement where possible to ensure company targets are met/exceeded

·         To ensure behavior is, at all times professional and represents company’s standards and values

·         Such other duties as management may from time to time reasonably require

 

 

Requirements

 

·         Minimum 4-5 years demonstrated event, conference and management experience

·         Demonstrated effective customer service skill at a senior level

·         Events Management Course or relevant industry experience preferred

·         Ability to deal effectively with all management levels and build effective client relationships

·         Ability to negotiate with suppliers

·         Ability to resolve issues to the satisfaction of both client and company

·         Team player and adaptable

·         Ability to accept responsibility

·         Effective written and verbal communication skills ( English and/or Cantonese strongly preferred)

·         Computer literate in standard MS office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

·         Macau Resident required
