Interior Design Manager

• Previous work experience on large scale 5 star projects (hospitality, retail, resort projects) working on client/developer/operator side and specifically in a design manager role (min. 8 years work experience)

• Ability to manage the design process from pre planning and concept through to construction (mainly Scheme Design onwards) with an eye for design and detail and a strong understanding of FF&E coordination

• Understands operational efficiencies of alternative materials and products

• Ability to exercise value management to meet cost and time constraints while maintaining compliance with design intent

• Knowledgeable in project administration procedures

• Capable of communicating effectively within a multidisciplinary project team both internally and externally including with the design team and construction manager

• Self motivated with a disciplined and committed approach to project goals and deliverables

• Capable of managing his/her own team under direction of Senior Interior Design Manager and Director of Design

• Effective in decision making, with systematic approach to problem solving

• Brings added value to the team and project by identifying opportunities for improvement of the process and product
