Senior Manager-FF&E Procurement


 

Responsibilities

 

The primary responsibility of the Senior Manager FF&E Procurement is to lead the entire supply chain for FF&E including:

 

 

·         Management of the FF&E procurement organization

 

·         Leadership and team development to enhance the competency of the organization

·         Development of commodity strategies for the above mentioned commodities and strong oversight with a focus on implementation to achieve exceptional results in cost reductions, quality, delivery and technology

·         Selection of suitable suppliers and comprehensive supply base management

·         Negotiations to ensure best-in-class pricing

·         Analysis of total cost of ownership

·         Summary of procurement recommendation

·         Management reporting

·         Interface with construction, design and operation teams

 

Requirements

  • Minimum BA/BS degree required in a related field or an equivalent experience, with an MBA or Maters degree in engineering preferred
  • Minimum 10 years experience in purchasing or construction field
  • Ability to perform complex analysis for supplier and material contracts, develop long range commodity plans, streamline operational procedures, perform continuous improvement activities, recommend and establish inventory levels, and present project reports to senior management
  • Knowledge of financial and cost management, PO and contract management, and spreadsheet analysis
  • Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with management, team members, and suppliers while working under pressure and meeting deadlines
