Job Responsibilities

  • Understand management expectations in order to tailor approach and deliver consistently in a fast paced environment.
  • Under the guidance of the Operations Director to manage and support large-scale production environment.
  • Maintain and enhance existing documentation, inventory, contact lists, procedures, escalation sheets and roster.
  • Create action plans and tasks lists around various steady-state initiatives and routine maintenance jobs.
  • Hands-on technical support to customers and IT teams.
  • Take on and resolve escalated support call
  • Apply upgrade packages in the production environment.
  • Coordinate and communicate directly with other IT teams to ensure continuity when making changes for client environments.
  • Ownership of server deployment procedure and maintain OS Deployment imaging system and system imaged.
  • Maintain and update trouble-tickets that are assigned for client support requests.
  • Uphold the highest level of quality around physical state of the Data Centre systems including labeling, cleanliness, cabling, and layout.
  • Report work progress status to the Operations Director.
  • Take ownership of issues/problems and ensure timely escalation to the Operations Director.
  • Ensure issue resolution is communicated and expectations are set/met in a timely and effective manner.
  • Develop and/or contribute to process standard guidelines for service excellence.
  • Accountable for timely and appropriate response to requests for information that meet or exceed expectations.
  • Proactively coordinate with facilities providers for outstanding deliverables.
  • Job Requirements

    • At least 5 years of relevant experiences with technical support and architecture design expertise in enterprise Windows environment
    • Solid experiences in setup and operation of server farms in Call Centre, Data Centre, Command Centre and/or Network Operation Centre
    • Solid experiences in solution architectures and systems integration.
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in both English and Chinese
    • Good analytical and problem solving skills
    • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
    • Knowledge of both the Business and IT
