Responsibilities,
As a member of the PMO team, be responsible for the creation and project ownership of a handover master plan that provides an operational transition plan between the construction workstream and the resort opening workstream. The Handover plan will programme integrate all pre-opening fitout and installation activities from the operational business units (eg: hotel, food and beverage, casino gaming, etc). This role is a most dynamic one in which the PM will play a lead role in the hands-on logistical planning and programme management leadership of this handover plan as it begins the transition planning from the construction work phase to the opening work phase.
Requirements,
· Experienced in leading large projects with multiple, inter-dependent stakeholders.
· Proven ability to manage complex, multiple project workstreams that involve a high degree of operational and logistical complexity.
· Complete understanding of current up-to-date Program Management methodologies and principles including critical path analysis and design.
· Must be able to interface with stakeholder representatives at the highest levels within the organization.
· Must have ability and conviction to make decisions for the resolution of challenging Risk and Issues with strong contingency foresight.
· Experienced in creating project schedules using Microsoft Project.
· Hands on Project Management experience in either large scale construction, operations, manufacturing/logistics or hospitality.
· Hong Kong or Macau permanent resident.
· Mandarin or Cantonese written and verbal skills.
Desirable,
· Ability to work across diverse business stakeholders and capture / manage their critical path needs into a whole of program view.
· Understanding of critical path scheduling, does not have to be an expert but must be able to see through to what is critical if a program is to succeed.
· Highly organised with good ability to multitask with many business stakeholders at an exec level.
· Not submissive, wanting some who will speak up and provide insights and advice as to what needs doing.
· Construction experience a benefit but not mandatory. A mandatory is experience across similar large programs of work.
· Enjoys working on a large, dynamic program with stimulating, experienced stakeholders including close workings with the COO and PMO.
· Finally, someone who gets hands-on involved in all aspects of project workings and is not wanting to sit back and dictate project strategy.
