Job Description:
· Assist the Chief Steward to run the Stewarding Department smoothly and efficiently
· Assist Stewards to clear, wash and store crockery, pots and glassware
· Inventory control of all cutlery and cooking utensils
· Redeploy Stewards according to business demand to maximise productivity
· Provide training and supervision to the Stewarding Team, particularly the supervisors
· Ensure correct handling, use and storage of chemicals
· Minimize breakage and wastage of operating supplies, especially chemicals
· Coordinate with F&B department heads to facilitate trouble-free operation
· Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene of commercial kitchen equipment and utensils
Requirement:
Experience: Minimum 2 years of management experience in Stewarding or F&B related field
Language: Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese
Education: High school education or equivalent
Other:
· Basic food hygiene certificate for Hygiene Manager
· Experience and good knowledge in handling chemicals
· Good leadership ability, and effective communication and training skills
