Support Analyst


 

Our client is a leading casino hotel in Macau, they are now inviting high caliber candidate to join their team as Support Analyst

Objective:

To contribute to BOH, Back of House Labor solutions projects, primarily within a team environment, involving analysis, design, development, integration and business process reengineering to ensure that projects are delivered in a timely and cost efficient manner.

The Support Analyst’s role is to fully understand “ Back of House” business processes with specific on labour effectiveness and support to the business units in defining quality, efficient an effective solutions supported by technology. A wide scope of role and responsibilities covers the delivery across the solutions’ design and development lifecycle, including but not limited to support on vendor engagement, client servicing on user requirements studies, program development according to functional specifications, project planning and organizing, and finally solution delivery.

The role and responsibilities include a combination of tasks on business analysis and application of solution.

Responsibilities

  • To contribute to Labor Solutions Mizzisoft projects, primarily in User Support; Training, Documentations and daily operational support.
  • Functional deployment, User Training, Module and integration test.
  • Ensure all labor solutions, operations and users inquires are documented and managed to resolution in good time
  • Carry out implementation and upgrade assignments working as part of a team.
  • Carryout projects assignments working as part of a team, with responsibility to a Project Lead
  • Provides support to the user community in the solution lifecycle
  • Sound understanding of the business processes (e.g. Labor Scheduling, Gaming, Hospitality) and be able to assist users to map the business processes to applications, Workshops and documents business processes, specifically targeting improved practice
  • Participate as needed with IS&T operational projects, specifically targeting evolution of solutions of responsibility
  • Interact with internal departments, clients and external service providers.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • University degree in the field of Computing or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior experience in gaming & hospitality industry in labour based solutions would be a strong advantage
  • At least 2 years of total IT development experience, of which, at least 1 years of experience in a business analyst role and/ or service industry
  • SAP (or similar) implementation experience (desirable)
  • Proficient in MS office Applications, MS Project, etc.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in System Design & Development Life Cycle and modern methodology of program development
  • Experience on client engagement and post-implementation services
